Well we survived the attacks by the insidious malicious software hacker agents of evil. That is to say, if you’ve visited our guinea pig cage site over the past few days, you may have noticed that we were hijacked by malicious software.
You may have seen the Google Attack Page. And you may also have seen me – waving my fist in the air, cursing and throwing a hissy fit of epic proportions… or not.
What you really would have seen was a lot of typing. I sent a gaggle of emails to our host provider and another gaggle to Google to get the issue resolved. (Ha ha ha… [gaggle to Google]).
Well, I’m happy to report that after about 4 days of researching, typing, reading and waiting; order has once again been restored to our guinea pig universe. Our site has been returned to us from the Dark Side. Yes, as I said before:
All is well in Pigville again!
I know I said that a couple days ago – but after our site was initially cleaned by HostGator, I submitted it to Google to do another review. Unfortunately, Google flunked it again and HostGator had to go back and do a little more scrubbing, sweeping and disinfecting in the corners for us.
But now, we are totally clean! Google has given us the Virtual High Five, they have removed their Google Attack Page and taken all the malicious software notifications out of their search results for BlueStoneCages.com and BlueStoneCages.com/WIIFM. So… to repeat… All is well in Pigville once again. So…
Break it up… move along… nothing to see here…
(Heh, heh… gaggle to Google… [snicker])
